Originally from Vancouver, Shalini is a Certified Makeup Artist and Aesthetician with extensive training in Beauty and Special FX Makeup for TV and Film. She has worked on a variety of productions in the industry and has also shared her expertise by teaching makeup, special effects, and character creation to teens.

Her career path has always been closely tied to the world of film and television. As a former Commercial and Background Talent Agent, Shalini remained deeply connected to Hollywood North in multiple capacities. She later returned to her roots in aesthetics, launching Black Cat Beauty—an organic skincare and wellness brand offering handmade, small-batch products both online and in stores.

After several successful years building Black Cat Beauty, Shalini shifted once again toward the entertainment industry and founded DK Management—an all-inclusive talent agency for TV, film, event management, and production across North America. DK Management quickly built an exceptional roster of talent from coast to coast, becoming one of the most sought-after companies to join.
